Free or reduced price meals are available for those who meet Federal income guidelines.  An application is available in the Main Office.  Students with Free or reduced price meals must have money on their lunch account to purchase ala carte items.  All ala carte items are charged at full price.

All food items must be purchased through the school lunch account card system.  This includes milk purchases for sack lunch students and any extra milk purchases for sack or hot lunch students.

Lunch money is accepted Monday through Friday.  Please place lunch money in a sealed envelope with your child’s first and last name, grade, and homeroom teacher.

Money can be added to lunch accounts using cash, check, or credit/debit cards.  For credit/debit card payments see the link at the top of this page.  Please contact the St. George School Office at 815-933-1503 if you have any questions.

Lunch accounts should be kept current with a positive balance.

Students will be charged only for lunches actually purchased, balances carry over from week to week.  It is strongly recommended that all student accounts maintain a $5.00 minimum balance at all times to cover days when a sack lunch is forgotten or some other situation arises.

A daily lunch count will be conducted during morning homeroom procedures.

Food Allergies

Food allergies must be reported to the Main Office to allow for the safe handling of such foods in relationship to your student. Substitutions are available for food and dairy allergies. All meals are prepared in accordance with USDA guidelines for the National School Lunch Program.
